Double Whammy!!

After 2 days of misery, which means no sleep!! Hasten had a fever of 102, was restless, and was miserable. He wasn't acting like himself at all. Just constant crying. Poor Isabelle was stuck in her room playing by herself, because Hasten wouldn't let me put him down. We decided it wasn't just a cold and thought we should go to the doctor. The doctor ran a test for RSV and the flu. And guess what? He tested positive for both. I could not believe it. My poor baby! No wonder he was so crankie. Now I feel awful. The doctor gave us some medicine and sent us on our way. Hasten has had 1 dose of the medicine and is feeling a little better. Wanting to get down a play a little. I just want to know were we got this awful stuff? The only saving grace is that no one else has it yet. KNOCK ON WOOD!!!

A Scary thing!!

Today one of a mothers biggest fears happened to me. Hasten was standing in his crib like he always does. All of the sudden the side of the crib goes down and he falls out head first, does a complete flip and lands on his back. It seemed like it was in slow motion and I just couldn't get there fast enough. He starts screaming and crying. I start searching for anything bleeding or bumps. Like us mothers do. He was fine. It took a little while to calm him down, but he was back to normal. Wanting down to crawl. Isabelle trying to make him feel better says "That was a great flip Bubba." Isn't that the sweetest.

Okay so I decided to start blogging again.

Everyone has been on me to start blogging again so I thought I would try. I can't make any promises that I will keep it up, but I will try. Okay here are some adorable pictures of the kids.




My little fashionista. She always tells me what looks good. Our favorite show to watch together is Project Runway. The next day she will do her own version of the show. It is adorable. I love the way her mind works. She has such a creative imagination.

This is my little ladies man. He is always smiling. Just a happy little guy. I look in his eyes though and he has a little mischievioues side. I can't wait to see what will happen next.

My growing belly!!

Ok! for all of you who didn't know. We are expecting our second baby the end of July. My belly is getting huge, fast!! Isabelle loves talking to the baby, but she insists that it is in fact a girl. She doesn't want a stinking boy. I can't believe how big she is getting. I enrolled her for school next year and she is in Pre-K. Can you believe it my baby is almost four. She tells me she wants to say little forever, if only they could.

Fall Festival!!

Today Isabelle had Fall Festival at school. She decided to dress up as Snow White today. It took a few tries to finally decide on Snow White. First she put on her Princess and The Pauper dress. Which is so CUTE, but she said "it was hurting her hips." So then she put on her Jasmine outfit, but Dad and Mom decided it was to big and she would be pulling at the straps all day. So finally we all agreed on Snow White.

Trunk or Treat

On Sunday we took Isabelle to Trunk or Treat at the Church. Isabelle decided to dress up as Cinderella. I put a little make- up on her and she loved it. I told Isabelle lets take some pictures outside before we leave. She was posing looking over her shoulder. Then she would say lets do a pictures like this. Laying on the ground. We meet Jason, Holly, and Riley at Trunk or Treat. This was Riley's first time Trick or Treating and he wasn't sure want to think about it all. Isabelle and Riley got a little frighten when an old lady popped out of her car trunk and said "Boo." Some of the kids were wearing scary mask and Isabelle or Riley didn't like that at all, but overall they had fun.

School Pictures!

Isabelle had school pictures today. She wasn't cooperating this morning when it came to picking out an outfit. I had a pretty pink dress for her to wear today. Isabelle said " I want to wear a blue dress." So this is what she wore today. Still looked absolutely beautiful!

Melissa had the Baby!!

Melissa had a baby girl on October 8, 2006 at 11:13am. McKeena James Wilson was born on her late father's birthday, she weighed 7lbs. 7oz. 21.3in long.
The girls were so excited about their baby sister. Fighting over who was going to hold her. Isabelle kept saying McKeena was so Cute!! McKinnley said "I know she is my sister!" Isabelle had to tell everyone she wanted a baby sister too! Kathy (Melissa's mom)asked her if she wanted a brother she emphatically said NO!!! Of course everyone kept asking when we were going to make Isabelle a big sister. I told them what I tell her "You will just have to pray about it."

Our baby is Three!!

Isabelle is offically three years old. She has to tell everyone how old she is. I love it!! Isabelle is the luckiest three year old I know. She got to eat Princess cupcakes and PINK ice cream for breakfast. Later in the day we went to Express Ranches in Yukon to see the Clyesdale Horses. They are GIAGANTIC!!!! Isabelle loved getting to love on them. Next on the agenda Isabelle made her own necklace at Elements Beadery! Well here are some pictures from Isabelle's Day of Fun!!!

First Teeth Cleaning!!!

Isabelle had her first teeth cleaning yesterday! She was such a big girl, just hopped right in the chair. Isabelle really didn't like it when Ms. Lacy polished her teeth, but other than that she did great!! Jason and I were so proud of our big girl.

Our week!!!

On Wednesday Isabelle started gymnastics. She was a natural and I'm not just saying
that, the teacher agreed! It is a total of 5 kids all three years old. 3 girls and 2 boys. They learn the basics and get to jump on a big trampoline. Isabelle had a blast! That is all she could talk about for days. I'm glad we decided to do this now, it was the right moment for Isabelle.


On Saturday we went to Incredible Pizza with Holly,Jason, and Riley. Riley is Isabelle's little friend. We arrived at 11:00am and left at 3:00pm if that tells you anything. The kids favorite activity was bowling. It is set up for little kids with little balls they can grip and bumper guards. It was the cutest thing watching the two of them bowl. If the pins didn't come up quick enough they would just go in the lane next to them! Someone else's lane!! We played golf and all the little games they have. The objective is to get a lot of tickets so you can buy stuff with your tickets. We paid $17.00 for a box of crayons and a little whistle! It was worth it though, just to watch the kids enjoy themselves. I think us adults enjoyed the games just as much though in all fairness. All in all fun was had by everyone.




Next on our agenda is Isabelle's 3rd birthday party. She is so excited about it and everyone coming to her party. I just can't believe our little baby is going to be THREE on Thursday! Time flyes when you are having fun!!!!

Our Weekend!!

This last weekend was crazy!!! Why is it that one weekend you are trying to find things to do and another weekend you have to pick a choose? Friday night Jason and I went to Cain's ballroom to see Cross Canadian Ragweed. They were awesome, played for 4 hours straight. It was amazing, but unbeliveably hot. I had sweat in places you couldn't imagine. So that was our Friday. On Saturday, Jason's cousin was getting married OUTSIDE if you can believe it!!!! HOT wedding, the bride looked pretty, that is all that matters. On Sunday Isabelle had a Princess Tea Party. It was the cutest thing you have ever seen. All these little girls dressed as their favorite princess. Isabelle went as Snow White( she was the only Snow White). When one of the girls would arrive Isabelle would say "Oh you look so cute!" They had one of those big blow up water slides you get from Wal-Mart, Isabelle didn't want to climb up the slide, but she wanted to get wet. So I would have to throw her halfway up the slide for her to slide down. It was a fun party, but all OUTSIDE. I just want to know what is with you people in 103 degree temp. and planning all this stuff outside. I think I lost 5 lbs. in water this weekend alone. All in all it was a great weekend getting to visit with everyone. I will post some pictures later today when I get home.

I KNOW!!!

I know it has been a long time since I've posted anything, not to say alot hasn't been going on around here! So to get you all updated here we go. We have went to the Circus. Isabelle loved every mintue of it, especially the acrobats flying and the clowns (I know Aunt Chi Chi doesn't want to hear that). We go to storytime weekly Isabelle enjoys talking to the kids more than listening to the story. Today we tried a new drink at Starbucks while we were at Barnes & Nobles it was delicous in the words of Isabelle it was a Green Tea and Blackberry Frapp. YUMMY!!! I know she is already a Yuppy.

Isabelle has acquried a new friend from next door his name is Riley he is 2 and they are the cutest things when they are together. Giving each other hugs and telling one another to share or take turns. If we walk outside and he spots us we aren't going anywhere. Riley told his Grandma that Isabelle's name was ELBOW! Now he has it right, but it is funny because his Grandma didn't know her name and wanted to call her Elbow when she would see her.

One more Isabelle story before I go. The other day Isabelle was playing in her room very quietly. So I decided I better go take a look to see what was going on exactly. Isabelle had her hands hidden behind her back and wouldn't show me. I asked her what she was hiding? She pulled her hands out and said "TATTOOS". She had colored all over her hands and her tummy. I just had to laugh!
