Isabelle is not ready for Christmas to be over yet. She was very upset when I took down the tree. Every night she sings "Santa Claus is coming to town." Jason and I keep telling her he won't come til next year, but she doesn't believe us. Our little princess has a mind of her own.

New Year's Eve!!

Jason decided to surprise me with a night out. Jason had arranged for my Mom to watch Isabelle. Made reservations at Charlie Newton's. I'm very excited about our night out. This week Isabelle and I have been busy potty training. On the first day I just put her in panties and we had a few accidents, but she was getting the hang of it. The second day didn't go as easy. Isabelle didn't want to poo in the potty and was getting very frustatrated with the whole deal. Isabelle kept saying "Put diaper on." By the third day she had it down telling me she need to go potty and made it every time.The pooing in the potty is still a issue, but I don't want to force her. The pediatrician said she could become consipated.So..I'm ready
to get out of the house for a little while. Not have to worry about pee or poo. Have a nice relaxing dinner with my husband. Hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!

Christmas Day!!

This year Christmas Day was a little different for our family. First, it was the first time we spent Christmas morning alone. We enjoyed getting to open presents just the three of us. Second, I was going to cook Christmas dinner for my whole family. Lastly, we didn't have to run all over the state of Oklahoma. For the first time since Jason and I have been together we actually got to relax on Christmas.

Our day started out with Isabelle waking up around 8:15am. She was ready to see what Santa had brought her now. This morning SANTA had got Isabelle her very own CASTLE!

This is her reaction when she seen the castle. She didn't want to open anymore presents after that. But we talked her into opening a few more.

Every present she opened had to go into the castle.

Jason opening his stocking!! This year Jason and I decided to do just stockings. It was lots of fun to see what we would get each other.
After we open presents it was time to get ready for church. Isabelle insisted on getting dressed in her castle. We made it to church on time and my Mom meet us there. Isabelle had to tell Jaxon about her castle and invited him over to see it.
After church it was back to the house to start lunch. Everything went smoothly I thought. All the food including the turkey was ready at the same time and everyone was there. After lunch we opened more gifts. Isabelle got four new princess outfits....Three from Papa and one from Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Ashley. As soon as she opened the one from Jeremy and Ashley. Isabelle said "Take off my pants." She was ready to play dress up.

The rest of the day was nice and relaxing. We played games and played with our new toys.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent in Tecumseh with Pa, Nona, and Aunt Chi Chi. We went down on Friday night and spent the night to wake up and open presents on Christmas Eve morning. Isabelle had a blast. We let her open one present the night before. Her present was two princess Barbies Belle and Snow White.

As you can tell Isabelle loved the Princesses! Jason wanted to open one present also because he is still and little boy at heart. Rosanne let us open a joint gift. The gift was the game Scene It. So of course we had to play. The objective of the game is know the most about movies, but the questions are tricky some times. The game was lots of fun. Jason won, but no one really knows how.

We finally went to bed about 11:30pm. We had to tell Isabelle if she didn't go to sleep Santa wouldn't come. As soon as she heard that she gave everyone a hug and went to bed.
Isabelle woke up about 7:30am of course! We had to give everyone time to get up and get in the livingroom to see her reaction.

I think we all had a great Christmas Eve. We got to relax and enjoy each others company. Pa got to stay in his PJ's all day. You can't beat that.

Christmas with The Winns

Tonight we had Christmas with the Winn Family. It was lots of fun we had Mexican Lasagna with Salsa and guacamole. All the food was delicious! Then it was time for the kids to open their presents. Isabelle went first because she could not wait. The Winn's got Isabelle a purple boa, a crown with matching earrings and a wand. Isabelle is in heaven and she loved dressing up Daddy and Joey. Next was Little Jaxon we got him some activity blocks, a puzzle that sings Old MacDonald, and a Dinosaucer book. The kids enjoyed all their gifts and we enjoyed watching them have fun. That is what Christmas is about getting to spend time with your family and friends.

Christmas Pictures!

The whole family went to Sears on Monday for pictures. This had to be one of my worst experiences at a photo studio. The two ladies working were totally lost and the lady that took our pictures smelled of smoke. Isabelle did not care for her and really wasn't corporating. At one point Isabelle turned to Jason and I and said "I'm done." So to say the least I only spent $10.00 on pictures and if you know me that is not normal. Here are a couple of cute pictues. No matter what I don't think Isabelle can take a bad picture.

Blast From the Past!!

Today Isabelle decided that she wanted to pick out her own outfit for the day. She reached in the closet, pulled out a dress , and said"I want to wear princess dress." Does anyone recoginize this dress? The dress Isabelle wore today is one of Charity's old dresses, it is only 20 years old, but never out of style. Suzanne's sister Stacey said " It looked like she belonged on the pages of Urban Outfitters." Isabelle is already a trend setter at the age of 2!

JUST THINKING!!

I was going thru some pictures and ran across these......I can't believe how big my baby is, Isabelle isn't a baby she is a big girl. When you are younger you always here your parnets and grandparnets til you to enjoy being young because it goes by to fast. Now I understand what they meant, days go by, months and years just fly by now. So I guess I'm just saying take time to enjoy every minute of your life....because you blink and it is gone. Christmas Time

I can tell it is Christmas time, I haven't had any time to blog and a lot has happened. Isabelle is very in to Christmas the Spirit this year......When ever we leave somewhere she will say...."Good-Bye......Be Careful......Merry Christmas." it is the funniest thing! Today Isabelle and I decided to stay home didn't want to get out in the freezing cold.......So we made cookies and decorated them. Isabelle had the best time she would put a little icing on a cookie and take a bite. Here are a few pictures from our relaxing afternoon.

Here are a few pictures from Wednesday night. Jason, Isabelle and I met Suzanne and Jaxon at Poblano Grill for some Mexican food. Isabelle and Jaxon are so funny together the already fight with each other it is hestrical.
Last night we realized that Isabelle has pink eye and had to call the nurse to get so drops. This is one of the downsides to her going to school is all the things she picks up.
